That just can't feel good.

Sara, I am so jealous of that beautiful bread you baked. But this bread-baking thing seems to take undivided attention so maybe now that you'll have a cute little dog to distract you, I'll be able to catch up to your bread skills. Maybe. I'm not holding my breath or anything though.maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02409400959408658124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2500784247355256441.post-33265366179693646582010-02-17T15:54:45.507-05:002010-02-17T15:54:45.507-05:00At least I now know what I'm up against once m...At least I now know what I'm up against once my starter is ready! LOL!! I had a recent loaf fail too, but it was from regular yeast gone bad (I think), and I did what you did...baked it and tried it anyway. Might as well, right? Nothing to lose at that point! (Mine wasn't edible, either.)

My roommate is bringing home a new puppy tonight (a little dog), so thanks for letting me know an easy way to get rid of any spare unwanted bread in the future! My kitty isn't interested. :)Sarahttp://www.avidity.net/realfoodnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2500784247355256441.post-25947369564001124972010-02-17T03:44:57.164-05:002010-02-17T03:44:57.164-05:00Oh, wow!! I'm glad it's not just me whose sourdough gets a little overenthusiastic from time to time!

Oddly enough, my dogs adore any and all scraps of sourdough, too. Mind you, they have been known to eat potato peelings, carrots, raw cauliflower, compost and very dead, very dry frogs, too, so I don't think we should read too much into the sourdough thing.Alisonhttp://yarninmypocket.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.com
